1    Introductions, apologies and substitutions

1.1 Apologies were received from Llyr Gruffydd.  There were no substitutions.

 

2    Natural Resources Wales - General scrutiny session

2.1 Emyr Roberts and Peter Matthews responded to questions from members of the Committee.

 

2.2 Emyr Roberts agreed to provide information in writing on:

• How the 209 prosecutions carried out by NRW during  2013-14 compared to the figures for previous years;
• The procedure for handling applications made by other NRW departments to ensure no conflicts of interest;
• The remit of the group set up to consider the Wales Coastal Path.

4.1 The Committee agreed the Motion.

 

5    Proposed terms of reference for forthcoming inquiries

5.1 The Committee agreed the terms of reference for its inquiries into recycling in Wales and energy efficiency and fuel poverty in Wales.

 

6    Inquiry into the Welsh Government’s proposals for the M4 around Newport : Consideration of next steps

6.1 The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Economy, Science and Transport.

 

7    Sustainable Land Management : Consideration of draft report

7.1 The Committee considered the draft report and agreed to consider any changes by email.
